The Barley Mill — opened in 1983 as the initial joint venture between brothers Mike and Brian McMenamin — is a Southeast Portland favorite, where it has radiated tie-dyed good vibes at the corner of Hawthorne Boulevard and 17th Avenue for 30-plus years.
