Description
Higgins design was inspired by classic French bistros. The restaurant, in a historic building, has a pressed tin ceiling and polished wood floors. Marble and granite countertop colors of sage green, eggplant, terra cotta and Bordeaux are echoed in curtains, tapestry upholstery fabric and painted patterns on the ceiling of one of the dining rooms. From Higgins open kitchen, the chef can see every seat in the restaurant. Behind him, two windows expose all the kitchen action to passers-by on Jefferson Street.
